In addition to teaching the course curriculum and internal evaluation, the college centers attention on activities meant for development of talent and sportsmanship of students. The faculty members also shoulder responsibilities as in charge professors of activities like N.C.C., N.S.S., games and sports, debate and elocution, fine arts and cultural programmes, guidance and counselling. Students are motivated by all ways and means for participation in various talent-based competitions held by affiliated colleges, university and other elide organizations.

Participation of Students
Cricket
Two students of this college represented university cricket team at state level. ACC students have been taking part in inter-college cricket competition of S.P.University. Last year the College Cricket Team made history by wining University Championship in cricket. This has been a unique achievement of our College Cricket Team.
Football
One student represented University Football Team at State level.
Cultural
Students of the college participated in the inter-college Drama Competition held by S.P.Uni. in Silver Jubilee year and secured second prize.
College participated in the inter-college Folk-Dance competition held by S.P.Uni. in Golden Jubilee year and secured second prize.
Three of the students brought credit to the college by wining consistently and making Hatrick at S.P.Uni. Badminton Competition (Ladies)
N.C.C.
The college is approved as unit of 13th GUJ.Bn. N.C.C. The N.C.C. cadets of this college have always made their mark by representing the university at state and national level events. Five cadets of the college represented Gujarat State for Republic Day Parade at Delhi this year. Three N.C.C. cadets have been awarded Sahara Scholarship of Rs. 12,000/- each for meritorious performance in academic pursuit and joining N.C.C.
N.S.S.
NSS unit of the college enrolls selected volunteers for two NSS units. These volunteers are exposed to the ideology of “service to the society is service to God,” and “Dignity of Labour.” The students are stimulated by the college through the execution of NSS programme to work in unity for productive social work to enhance awarness of sanitation and cleanliness, to solve community problems, to self employment and to strengthen national integration.
Other Activities
The sports committee holds competitions like kabbadi, cricket, chess, carom, table tennis, badminton and athletics to live up to the dictum “Sound mind in a sound body”. Aspiring students are offered opportunity to participate in university and interuniversity sports competitions. The debate and elocution committee holds essay-competitions, elocution competition, patriotic song competition and poetry competition in order to provide vent to the creative potential of the students. The magazine committee also is one more avenue for creativity of staff and students. A yearly magazine ‘Pathey’ is published by the college is the mirror of the activities and achievements of the college.
The faculty members realize the true worth of academic enterprise and strive ceaselessly for updating knowledge through symposiums and seminars. The faculty participates in state level and national level seminars. The college also arranges seminars.
